Clean lines, a neutral base and purposeful contrast. The safe pick that makes almost any room look considered.
The living room is where style is most visible and mistakes are most expensive. Upload one photo and compare eight styles on your actual sofa wall: same windows, same fireplace, same floor — different furniture, textiles and lighting. It is the fastest way to answer “would a dark green wall actually work?”

Light woods, white walls and cozy textiles. Maximizes daylight — ideal for north-facing rooms.

Layered rugs, plants, warm color and collected pieces. Personality-first, made for living rooms.
Your living room keeps its real walls, windows and proportions; everything a decorator could restyle overnight gets a new look — furniture, textiles, colors, materials and lighting.
Photograph the main seating wall straight on, at chest height.
Include the window — the AI keeps it and relights the room around it.
Do not move anything; clutter gets restyled too if it dominates the frame.
Start from where people sit. A sofa needs 230–280 cm of wall or free floor, and the distance from the sofa to the TV should sit between 2 and 3 metres — close enough to read subtitles, far enough to see the whole picture. Keep walkways 75–90 cm wide so two people can pass without turning sideways, and let the rug anchor the seating: front legs of sofa and chairs on the rug, at least 150 cm wide for a sofa setup.
Layouts worth testing before you commit: the classic L-shape (sofa plus chaise or armchair), two sofas facing each other for conversation-heavy rooms, and a media-wall layout that hides cables and keeps the window wall free. A small living room usually gains more from one sofa plus two light armchairs than from a bulky sectional.
Spend in this order: paint and lighting first, then the sofa, then rugs and curtains, and styling last. The most common mistakes are pushing every piece flat against the walls, hanging the TV too high, and relying on a single ceiling light — layer a floor lamp and two table lamps instead.
